How to start
your own Adult TGP site
I was recently
asked this question by one of your fellow webmasters and I decided that this
would be a great topic to share with all of you.
A
TGP is a Thumbnail Gallery Post where webmasters come and post their
galleries and surfers come to look for free porn. Webmasters use affiliate
codes in these galleries so that they can earn commissions on all the joins
from that page, and they use your TGP site like a bulletin board in a
college, (you know the board where people put their car up for sale, or if
they are looking for a roommate, etc). The more hits that they get from your
TGP, the more they will continue to post on it, so the job of marketing your
TGP is very important in order to have a successful TGP site.

Starting your
own adult TGP is not hard, advertising and maintaining it is what requires
work. First off , you will need: 1)
A domain name and a good hosting plan that will allow you to handle a decent
amount of traffic and bandwidth. Even though you are not hosting any of the
galleries yourself the bigger you get and the more submissions you receive,
will require more hard drive disk space. Since you will be updating your
adult TGP anywhere from many times a day to a few times a week this space
will be used up pretty quickly. So make sure whatever plan you select with
your hosting company you have space to grow on the hard drive without
breaking your pocket book.
2) A
script that helps you manage your submissions. We use the X3 script to maintain
our TGP and it works really well. We are currently receiving anywhere from
150 to 300 submission a day and with the X3 script we can review and update
our new pages in a reasonably short amount of time. Take a look at their

scripts out there, but honestly we have chosen to use the X3 script for ours
and it does a great job, they even have a free version if you just want to
try it out.
3) A
layout, you will need to decide how you want your site to work. These are
some of the questions you might ask yourself: a)
Do I want to have multiple categories or am I a niche TGP? (Audras Boobs is
primarily a niche big boob TGP, The
Hun just lists all submissions one underneath each other, JJJ's
makes use of categories after you get past all the paid sponsored link,
these are different ways you can layout your site) b)
Am I going to archive the old submissions? (This is where the hard drive
space starts to add up, this is your decision, remember the more free porn
that you have on your site the more a surfer will remember it and keep
coming back) c)
Am I going to put sponsors ads and banners on my site? (I would be very
liberal with this, if the surfer feels that your site is one big ad they
will probably not hurry back. I suggest that you use a few and make sure
that you get a little money out of it, for example BoobDollars pays a 15%
commission on all webmaster referrals from your site. If you put one our
banners up and a little text and you generate webmaster signups you will get
15% of the revenue that these webmasters generate) 4)
Content, you will need to start your site off with some submissions so
that when you start marketing and the webmasters and the surfers see your
site they see something. Our program like a few others provides free hosted
galleries that you can use as submissions on your site, if you click here
you will see a list of 450 free adult picture galleries and 60 free adult
video galleries for you to use, and we host all the bandwidth. If you change
the affiliate code to your own one you can start to earn some revenue off
your surfer traffic. Use this content to get your TGP started and then as
you get submissions you can cut back. I would suggest that you always use a
few since you can generate revenue this way, just as the webmasters are
doing with the pages that they are submitting to your site. 5)
Marketing, this is the most important and trickiest aspect of operating
your own adult TGP. There are many ways of marketing your site, here are
just a few: a)
Go to all the adult resource sites and list your TGP site. These
resource sites are where the webmasters hang out and look for information.
We operate these 2 great resource areas, Adult Content
Resource, and Free
Adult Resource. Both of these sites offer many links to other great
resource areas that allow you to post your TGP for free on their sites. Also

Get some banners made for your TGP, insist that all webmasters put your
banner on the pages that they submit, this way other surfers will see your
TGP and check it out. c)
Look at other TGP sites that will send you back traffic if you send them
traffic. If you look at the top of Audras Boobs you will see a list of sites
that we are doing this with, if a surfer clicks on any of these links then
our site gets credit for the referral. Then depending on the number of
referrals you will get listed on their site as a friend, top site, or a
referrer. If you click on any of them you will see this list. Some of these
sites do not have a unique IP tracker, meaning that you can click away and
it will credit you for those hits from your computer. To be honest that will
not work for much longer, that is cheating and most high level TGP's will
only accept 1 click from one IP address. d)
Optimize your pages for the search engines by using keyword rich
metatags, page titles, alt text, and actual textual content. Take a look at the articles below for more information on this
